I'm Ridwan, a London-based Senior Software Engineer and the founder of IlmLabs. I build modern websites for small businesses that want to look more professional, build trust, and make it easier for customers to get in touch.

Why IlmLabs exists.
A lot of small businesses do excellent work but have a website that doesn’t show it — slow, dated, hard to use on a phone, and not really set up to bring in enquiries. That gap is what IlmLabs is for.
I’m Ridwan, a Senior Software Engineer based in London, UK. I’ve spent years building software, and I’ve shipped my own products — websites, web apps, and apps on the App Store. IlmLabs brings that to small businesses: websites built to last, by one person, that load fast, look the part, and make it easy for customers to get in touch.
I work with small businesses and local services — garages, clinics, solicitors, sports centres, trades, independent shops — based in London, but working across the UK. Personal to deal with, but built to a standard you’d expect from a proper studio.

Is IlmLabs an agency or a freelancer?
IlmLabs is a one-person studio run by Ridwan, a Senior Software Engineer. You deal with me directly throughout the project — no account managers, no handovers, no offshoring the work to someone else.
What's your background?
I've spent years working as a Senior Software Engineer and have shipped multiple products of my own — websites, web apps, and apps on the App Store. IlmLabs brings that engineering standard to small businesses: websites built to last, by one person, that load fast and look the part.
Do you offer ongoing support after the website launches?
Yes. Monthly Care (from £75 / month) covers small content updates, technical maintenance, analytics and SEO health checks, and being on hand when you need a hand. It's optional — you can also pay for one-off changes as and when.
What kinds of small businesses do you typically work with?
Local services and independents — garages, clinics, solicitors, sports centres, trades, independent shops, fitness and wellness studios. Businesses that do good work in person and want a website that finally reflects it.
